The 1621 harvest feast at Plymouth lasted three days, and the Wampanoag leader Massasoit arrived with about ninety men, more than the colonists who hosted it. Both names are in this grid, along with the Mayflower and 32 other words from the table, the parade and the history. It became a national holiday only in 1863, when Abraham Lincoln proclaimed it after years of letters from the magazine editor Sarah Josepha Hale. Five words start with C and five with P, so the first letter will not give much away.
