ARCOIRIS is really two words written as one, arco and iris. It shares the grid with plain everyday sky, SOL and NUBE and LLUVIA, with NIEVE and VIENTO either side of it, and TORMENTA for the day all of them turn up at once.
Word find. Word search. The grid above answers to both and hides 12 spanish weather words.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Spanish use hace for the weather?
Most weather phrases are built with hacer: hace sol, hace frio, hace viento. Rain and snow are their own verbs instead, llueve and nieva.
Why are arcoiris and frio missing their accents?
The grid holds plain A to Z letters only, so both lose their accent mark inside the puzzle. Put it back when you write the word out.
