Spanish Colors Word Search, free printable PDF preview

Most beginner lists stop at ROJO, AZUL and VERDE. This one keeps going to the ones people never quite learn: MORADO for purple, GRIS for grey, DORADO for gold, and AMARILLO, the longest word in the grid at eight letters.

The phrase word find turns up about as often as word search, so treat these 12 spanish colors words as whichever you prefer.

Frequently asked questions

Why is marron written without the accent?

The grid holds plain A to Z letters only, so marron loses its accent and becomes MARRON. The spelling with the accent is the correct one to learn.

Do Spanish colors change with gender?

The ones ending in o do: rojo becomes roja, blanco becomes blanca. Verde, azul and gris stay the same for both, and rosa and naranja rarely change at all.
