The Pilgrims were English settlers who sailed to North America in 1620 seeking to practice their faith freely. Their ship, the Mayflower, made a hard Atlantic crossing before landing far north of its target. Before going ashore they signed the Mayflower Compact, an early agreement on self government, and founded Plymouth colony. Survival that first winter depended in part on the Wampanoag people, and a shared feast is remembered today. This word puzzle gathers eleven of them.
