Declaration Of Independence Word Search, free printable PDF preview

Adopted in July of 1776, the Declaration of Independence announced that thirteen colonies were separating from British rule. Written on parchment and approved by Congress, it argued that all people are created equal and hold certain unalienable rights, among them liberty. Much of the text is a list of grievances against a rule it called tyranny. Each signature added to it was an act of courage. This word puzzle gathers eleven of its key terms.
