How many Spanish speaking countries are there?
Twenty have Spanish as an official language, plus Puerto Rico. Eighteen are in the Americas, one is Spain, and one, Equatorial Guinea, is in Africa.
Why are COSTARICA and ELSALVADOR written as one word?
Grid words cannot hold spaces. Costa Rica means rich coast, El Salvador means the savior, and HONDURAS means depths, for the deep water off its coast.
